Last year we took the decision rather than send our customers and suppliers a Christmas card each, that we would spread some good cheer by giving the card & postage money to a local worthy cause. We therefore became a Community Investor in Heart of Bucks Foundation
I'm delighted to say we have been able to double that donation in 2021.
Ok where did the year go? Our last post was back in August. Its just been busy, busy, busy since then.
This time 12 months ago we were in lockdown, Shawn had just started with us and we were just a few months away from being made homeless.
I'm tremendously glad to say we survived Shawn joining us (he passed his 1yr anniversary last week so is no longer the company junior) , moving across the border into Oxfordshire, all the while trying to juggle quarantine and self isolation when C-19 got a little too close for comfort.
We've managed to acquire a new pair of trainee hands in the form of Joseph, our work placement student, till Summer 2022. We also have the bodywork shop up and running now which makes a huge difference for our repair and restoration work.
So we can look back at 2021 with a huge sigh of relief and turn our attention to 2022.
Our change of address has resulted in our inbox and phone being busier than ever as we've extended our customer base into Henley and Oxford and even a few from London.
We are ever grateful to our customers , both old and new for supporting our little business while we made the big transition to our new workshop and we have to say we are really enjoying being in Watlington. Its just a short walk to the high street with its bakery, butchers, delicatessenco-op, even a library still. So if its a small job, you can take yourself off to town for a few hours.
